Filling and fading with a soft caress
My playmate by the deep
Our memories diminish upon effervesce
Held up the sands of time
They keep

We bind and softly lay them all along
Like small sparks of fire
Out of the mist they are burning strong
Held closely to our soul's

The dusk of evening, breaks into light
Filling with a soft caress
Memories are found in clouds of night
In the lovely surging foam
Of effervesce

So many thoughts can be felt within this view of not only Mermaids but of the reflecting upon memories and there repetitive embrace of our minds...they leave those small sparks embedded waiting to re-appear...nice work Neva

I get bored with cliche story's about fairytales, but I don't get bored with mermaid's. I think both men and woman will forever be enchanted by these beautiful creatures. They encompass both mystery and desire. The term "playmate" made me smile, this is appropriate perhaps to best describe the love of a "siren".
