Kiss of A Crimson Poppy

Kiss of A Crimson Poppy

A Poem by Neva Flores Smith - Changefulstorm
"

Twirling in aromatic silken bliss............

"

Last night I sweetly dream't of fragrant flowers
In a changing kaleidoscope a whirl
Twirling as I yielded to their stunning presence
Thrilling as they gently swirled

I twirled and twirled inhaling the freshest heaven
I never knew could possibly exist
Lost inside an unforgettable aromatic world
My senses will never forget

A touch of satin rose petals brushed my cheek
As purple violets tickled my nose
Crimson poppies slipped though my fingers
Gently kissing the tips of my toes

I believe I found heaven in my dream last night
Twirling in an aromatic silken bliss
When I felt the touch on the tips of my toes
Of a crimson poppy's kiss

A beautiful dream to have ! It is very different from your other poetry but it is a very nice change ! It shows you can have a deep, well worded poem but also be carefree and simple; yet, no matter what you write, it comes off as elegant and lovely. Something as peaceful as flowers can make anyone feel uplifted and happy.

This is a great poem alive with details of the beauty of flowers and you use all the senses to allow the reader to experience what you saw and felt. Stunningly beautiful

Wow this smells of romance in the air with a hint of sensuality to tease the senses.

Delightful walk through the aroma and visual ambiance of floral paradise. Nothing better, save a meadow of wildflowers. Excellent visuals in your poem, complete with the drift of sleep.

I love the detail that your dream portrays. One of the most important things that I look for in any type of writing I review is detail, detail, DETAIL! I could literally feel that all of our senses became one as I read on. Our touch, smell and sight were two people looking at the same painting. And reliving the same dream. Well done, dearest.

That dream is so beautiful. You're not writing, you're drawing awesome pictures with the words, In which they were like taking the breath away. Aside from other writers, its a different feeling to read your works.
I'm totally agree with Carly Bre-Ann.
