Breathe, when thunder questions how long you can hold your breath............
Breathe, when thunder questions how long you can hold your breath When clouds bring you to remember all of your mistakes You will find inspiration, a drop of water to quench your thirst The light in your eyes will shine as calmness you remake
Breathe, when your mind loses touch with the static of your energy When there seems to be no lantern to light your way You will begin to paint that picture of a sun which shines again Watching joy run happily through the halls of your day
Breathe, when no happiness can you seem to ever find in your heart When everything makes you feel worn down and hungry You will begin to feel better in knowing that all hope is not lost Roses will bloom, in the grand design, of your victory
Breathe, when you cannot remember the lessons you have learned When all you can think about are the wolves at your door Soon, your spirit will find comfort in a quiet solace there at play Wondering what you were ever holding your breath in for
I enjoyed this piece immensely; I have always looked to the origins of words. My mother was an English major and one of the things I often heard was dealing with the origins of words. I look at the word "Inspiration," and from the Latin it literally means to bring breath in. To be fully inspired is to breathe in fully; no matter what the question, breathe is the answer.
Simply inspired write.

Breathe, when the walls are falling down around you and your world has come undone. When the snow falls through what was your ceiling and the cold is piercing your flesh.
Let the air fill your lungs and open your mind
Let the wind howl in sweep away the cobwebs in your soul.
This has all the mystic feel of the Hindu gods writings. you are most wise Ms. Flores.
I must listen to your words and breathe much more often, as I do feel the wolves are surrounding me and it is only a matter of time.
This serves to remind that there is creativity in all of us and also hope. Without the ability to recognise that, then we're lost. My own interpretation was to consider 'breathe' to mean step back from your immediate issues and think about how things could be with a little effort and planning.

Wondering what you were ever holding your breath in for"
Peace of mind is a beautiful thing; especially when its you painting its image. I look forward to meeting it and letting it envelope me. You painted such hope in the eyes of solace. J'adore
