If not for the murmurs of sweet memories evoked when my eyes are caressing your hands
Sighs of great bliss emanate from all of my senses
At the very sight of your hands
Sweet murmurs of memories evoked in a passion
Mesmerizing in haunting command
I am quieted of motion, stopped in existent time
Thrilled to my core of being
With memories of spaces and faraway places
Your hands take my spirit a fleeing
Strength emits from the coursing of lifeblood
Pulsing within your clasp
Holding my heart in suspended anticipation
Inviting the fire of your grasp
My attention is gravitated by the fire in your eyes
A flame, perhaps I could withstand
If not for the murmurs of sweet memories evoked
When my eyes are caressing your hands
My attention is gravitated by the fire in your eyes
A flame, perhaps I could withstand
If not for the murmurs of sweet memories evoked
When my eyes are caressing your hands
i love this lines they are so good and describes passion and love it just so sweet !!:)
Such a beautiful yet eager tenderness in this thought,
preceded and followed by other insights brought to life
from your caring pen, your loving heart.
You are the glowing embers in a comforting hearth,
Set ablaze by the murmuring draft of
Caressed anticipation, freed to rise
By caring hands from the core of your soul
To the corners of the earth.
My hands used to get so rough from work; their finger prints would worn off. This piece reminds me of when love used to complain about my hands, as she held them in the embrace of tenderness. Deep down I think she was proud of the hard work my hands adorned in their imperfections, and that’s what I get from this piece…
There is some very deep, very profound love in this. Even though you don't say so in your author's note above, I can sense its presence within your words. In everything, in every lyrical description, I can feel its potency and its strength there. This has to be one of my favorites from you.
