Although my footsteps were soft and sweet, the earth still saw my soul............
I gathered waves of laughter and began to run wild
With horses who came to see the sun
Although my footsteps were soft and sweet
The earth still saw my soul
Started spinning wild Gathering waves of laughter
Along with me
This is the shortist poem i have ever read of yours Neva, but it still holds the magic within its frame ...... brilliant my friend x x sorry not been about much getting used to new job and been searching for resourses to help me do a better job ... but i love it and im happy x
First time I see such a short poem from you. Generally you write at least four stanzas. It is short but meaningful and tells the whole story better. I like your style here.
We've seen dogs, horses and other animals run, jump and frolic about, just insanely happy to feel their muscles and bones moving inside their skin, to be alive, and it's such a positive, uplifting thing to see. To me, that is what you've described here. When you think about it, people can do this too.
this is very nice i love the way you said with horses who came to see the sun and although my footsteps were soft and sweet the earth stil saw my soul. it's like your sayin the horses them selves loked into your soul and told the tale you did not know was there
