Warmth Is A Place I Will AssumeA Poem by Neva Flores Smith - ChangefulstormWhere you are only a dream that cries itself to sleep...............By the time, my heart has weighed what you have asked me I will have kneeled upon the blades of life that bloom To join what I have missed in all of my wanting While your eyes watch my every move Warmth is a place I will assume All is plain in these lands I enter where I stand tall and strong Where you are only a dream that cries itself to sleep I can hear you lose your way, shiver in the cold Yet, through all those tears left to spare No memories will I ever keep While you slumber, I write this poem and my heart becomes One which stands in fame with no shame or fear Of dancing outside that which you ask me Even when the ground I walk upon Fills my shoes with tears By the time, my heart has weighed what you have asked me My words will have already written home triumphantly Pure love will ring out in all the lands you enter While your eyes watch my every move Inside the memories you see © 2011 Neva Flores Smith - ChangefulstormAuthor's Note
