Do you believe that your tongue can taste all my fears..................
Yes, from grief and pain I wanted to run And turn into liquid numb But I heard the cry of lightning Ride in on a black horse With much more fight to come
I stand here, appearing to you as frail In all your sudden thoughts When each day low, low worries Do not lie underneath Any of the dreams I bought
Do you believe that your tongue Can taste all my fears And when the time comes You will see me spinning down My own stair of tears
Now you go ahead and listen For a sad, sad sigh But you should never forget I have heard the cry of lightning Her fight is in my eyes
wow,this is really powerful neva,
'Do you believe that your tongue
Can taste all my fears
And when the time comes
You will see me spinning down
My own stair of tears,'
this is amzing!
also the last line,
'I have heard the cry of lightning
Her fight is in my eyes,'
this is going in my fav poems!
great write!
the third stanza made stop reading just to combine all the thoughts together and realize how much outstanding is this poem, how much breathtaking and intelligent is the image you have created. Words are organized perfectly in their right places and each word has its own spellbound magic. beautifully written
Shows alot of self-pride and self-relince. I like it! =) also a tencse of fitemism (or how ever you spell it) it's a very admirable trait, as long as it's not over done, wish was more of that in women, espeially in my generation.
