That is the question, is it not? Whether what lives and breathes in full color from black ink exists anywhere else? And yes, the loner's heart is full of emptiness...except that it rarely dances. You've done lovely work here again, Neva. Thank you.
The loner's heart doesn't know how to release it's internal feelings in a human relationship, but the pen is it's friend. It allows the loner to talk to no one at the same time it can talk to everyone. another wonderful insight Neva.
intresthing thought proccess. Is there intelligent life out there, I higher being? If so what is His plans, is there a true love for me? also your calling in life and making me thing of the expression of "How much damage can one man with a pen do"
There are worse things than being alone, or so I've learned from this lifetime. I've been a loner of choice for most of my life, never really letting people in. Each time I have, I have been painfully reminded why I should not seek companionship anywhere. Writing is for loners indeed. You get tired of living out there, and start living inside, content in being alone, cos you're writing about things that make you happy. If only the real life could really be like that imaginary world created in the ink! I might learn to dance and sing once again.
Brilliant title, I'm amused.
"Still the sky wonders if there is anything really there
Or if a loner’s heart is merely full
Of emptiness dancing bare" - this stanza is amazing, very powerful.
This was delightful to read, I love how you kept the theme going. It really tied the poem together nicely in the end. The personification of the sky was well executed. =]
