The Silhouette Never Fades

The Silhouette Never Fades

A Poem by Neva Flores Smith - Changefulstorm
"

Inside of a warm forever meant to last

"

Open your care for an ounce of what should be

Until the trail reaches to nothing more
Than a word said of proof that comes back
To what is fair and should have
Been before

There are rare pictures that bring us to long ago
Inside of a warm forever meant to last
Gathering dreams in heaven that is woven
To cover what has been left undone
In our past

Our melody never loses that which lies in between
Closing our eyes and spilling our shade
That which is precious has no need of direction
As its silhouette was never meant
To ever fade

Even though the seasons confess we lose vision
The same weather stays in our sight
As we yearn to once again hear the melody
Singing proof of what should be
In our life

Neva Flores Smith - Changefulstorm
I believe that we have lived many lives before. I also believe that what is unfinished we will try to complete or attain in the lives we live now. Especially in the area of the heart...

I don't believe in the many lives theory but I do believe we wrap up in our brains many experiences which float up to our consciousness as time passes and that maybe we take in something of long ago trhough our family connexions... The romantic dreaminess of this writing has a pleasing, soothing, musical quality - like that southern drawl lol

i have the same set of beliefs..there are times when you see some things or someplace and it all seems incredibly familiar even though you are going there for the very first time! as of the poem..you're words are enchanting..they amaze me every time !

you write in a classical way...it's clever and filled with such rich and beautiful expressions. i do believe we have lived many lives before...that's why some thing's we've never had are so familiar to us...or we crave for something we don't know or quite fully understand

well well another poem with deeper meaning than what you express in words, yes many of us do believe in the before and after life...it is all left to each individual to find there meaning, journey(s) or path that leads us to become a more compassionate, inteliigent, and loving being...and actually it is the heart of the Soul that we are enriching through each life...you my friend are on the path, nice work...

I too believe we live many lives and I believe we live in circles of the same people that we have to find again in the next life. I think that is why sometimes we feel such a special connection or gravitate towards certain people. You expressed this concept excellently in this poem. Love the imagery.

Lovely Neva. I believe we learn always whether in the day to day details or any multiple lives. Our energy is present always. Hugs. :)

I am still wandering, but memories serve to better my direction. Maybe in time I will look back upon today and relies what has been seen.

Great Write!
