Drowning the Sadness of Silent Tears

If you listened to silent tears, would you know what caused them
When sweet arms send a bewitching sadness in
You can hear the rhythm crying out in their silver stream
When they come to offer up a cleansing tribute
To drown the sadness that remains

Coming after tears are cards which reveal all those silent twists
Received by the body from a sun burning bright
It is only in your mind that you have been stripped bare
As you have to feel something if only for a second
To turn the twists and make it right

Soon a complete tune you used to know has drifted out to sea
Still you seem to hear it whispering hello
You do not have to take notes it is not hard to recall
When destiny’s door has been left slightly ajar
On those words you already know

When you behold the embers from the kiss of unexpected tears
Do not let the glorious light of your essence despair
You can hear a rhythm crying out a cleansing “This I know”
Go ahead and feel something if only for a second
To drown the sadness from your air
