Memorized In Spaces

Memorized In Spaces

A Poem by Neva Flores Smith - Changefulstorm
"

A tribute to my Muse............

"

Your memorized replies haunt all of these hallowed spaces
Winding profusely around the precious truth
Dispersing beads of splendor into the sweetest memories
That I will always have and hold of you

The ink will never ever fade, or vanish from these pages
Which hold the words, deeply written in my soul
Engraved in these hallowed spaces of the precious truth
Completing, the other half of the whole

Glowing gifts of revelations sweetly haunt my memories
With the spirit of the Muse you put in place
As I respond to your replies in the crystal ink of my tears
With a smile of blissful joy upon my face

No matter where I roam or where this life may take me
These engravings are etched into my heart
Memorized in spaces, of the tracks of my tears of joy
Never from my spirit to depart

Your imagery never fails to stun me. You use such soft words to paint unforgettable golden images. If I had to nitpick on this write, I would say "truth" and "you" do not rhyme comfortably. But that apart, I think this is a great poem, written with splendor, and a sense of longing.
You are one of my favorite poets on the Cafe! Great job once again.

The beauty of your poetry is you write with a lot of images, wonderful words and a great rhyme. You are really a gifted writer unlike me who can not mix all these things naturally. You are really a poetic muse.Your poetry lives for posterity and eternity.

Lovely use of imagery here. I have read some of your poems on another site, and have always admired your style.

So true about our words. They will be there forever.

You wrote with such conviction here..The ink will never ever fade, or vanish from these pages
Which hold the words, deeply written in my soul
Engraved in these hallowed spaces of the precious truth
Completing, the other half of the whole...to have a person by your side who has an impact on your soul and not only a perfunctory effect..is a lovely thing in itself.
