I hurt with you in anger and pain by lies that whisper and in the refuge of your aloneness that only burns and in your anger your world falls apart. All this is hidden in"towering boxes full days" So with fresh evocative imagery you paint the dilemma. What is the solution? "Tip them over with the truth"we are advised. What is the truth? That is the perennial question.
The circle of the box image in the opening and closing is powerful. The parts (images) cohesively create a whole that make an artistic poem.
Thank you. When I the truth I will let you know!
wow,lovely picture :)
It really attracted me...
I personally feel that if you want to live a happy life..
always say truth to yourself and people around you :)
One truth is always better than many lies :)
Wonderful poem..keep writing!! :)
This has a wonderful message, Neva.. loneliness can be so isolating even in crowds. I love the positive message at the end.. truth does indeed set one free. Lovely job!
Ah Neva - I think this is where a lot of people get caught out. Truth, a lot of people have different ways of actually tell the truth. Such a powerful write as always.
This is intriguing, all about how lies, fibs, white lies, or even, huge spectacular deceitful endeavours, can and will eventually catch up with a person, a strong moral tale is told effectively in this poem, very well done!
