Some of the feelings this poem evokes in me are uncomfortable. The track of our lives teaches us and scars us in turn. How many of the scars of the people close to us can we take on....how willing are we to share the burden of them? This poem provokes and prods the conscience. P.

~ a true friend you are my friend :), aren't we all go through this stage when our friends needs healing. Even when we are there for them just to lighten up their pain, sometimes for them its still not enough, that we don't know anything at all on how painful it is.... yes we don't know how... but we listen, and our heart understand & feel its painful suffering... the heart of the poem shines.... awesome!
Simply beautiful words of empathy and understanding. Your poems are always a balm Neva. Thank you.
