this oozes of trust...it wrings throughout the piece.
she trusts the artist, the man, to paint her as he sees fit. But the suggestion is that he will paint her with respect and love, and display the paintings with the pride that she and he are one.

Dangerous submission to the artist. Some modern artists put a blank canvas on the floor and stamp all over it.
