Love too small a word

Love too small a word

A Poem by Chandini Hemdev
"

Love, as raw as it could be....

"

Love too small word

There's love, and yet not eternity;
There's a smile and yet not immortality.
The simplicity of a word, and the complexity of an act,

They both collide like parallel lines to never join.
The course of true love, never did run smooth said Shakespeare,

And never did it bring a jolly ride, for two people to enjoy.
The hurdle they cross or the puddle they fall into,

The essence of it all is when they wake up as two, yet love as one, and the reason stays same.
Two different people, two opposite souls, meet, greet, smile and be sweet;
And then those inner bubbles of feelings sweep in!
To rise to that euphonious voice,
Stay in the bliss of those beautiful prince eyes.
You know you have the right key,

When it fits the lock of your hand perfectly.
To treasure that hunt you got done with,

You feel the magic of that someone you look perfect with.
You were alone, wandering aloud ,

And then stepped in a prince to fade out the crowd;
He made me walk by, he even stood by, he promised to hold on, and fell every day and a little more.
That hug, or the mesmerizing odor,

What leaves you awestruck is a personality you still long to discover.
The simplicity of the tact or the brutality of the fact,

Leaves you amazed, but you also know that you hopefully live through a bond that surprises you....
A love so pure, so pious, so chaste, so transparent like the earth and the heavens display.
To see with another's eyes,

Feel like one heart,

Beat as one soul,

And live together as a couple is all you desire sometimes.

A bond beyond physicality, a touch far beyond a set mentality;
The feeling of togetherness and oneness like never before....
Love, may seem like a frivolous word, for a bond so unique.
So petty an expression for a relationship so pretty.
