SOAR

SOAR

A Poem by Chandini Hemdev
"

This was a thought that ran in my mind, influenced by the present situation

"

SOAR

Passive, outrageous, they say you're a pendulum slidding through those two extremes.
Why have you reached there, does anyone bother to retrieve?
Some sort of atmosphere,

one that's not comforting,

that numbness you feel,

when no one is around to figure out your uncertainties.

You're forced,

dragged into that torture,

you were immature not to refrain that monster.

He came in, spun a yarn,

took you for granted,

and breached your body of it's innocence by acting out his plans.
Unaware of what was happening, a slumber you went into without knowing, you're paving way for your own infected mind.
You let it happen, didn't utter a word, not knowing how people would react or if they would even believe you, a veil of ignorance you just put yourself into.
Scared and stupefied of the consequences, you hid the situation deep into your mind where no one could touch you.
Disgusted, you felt alone, lonely for your peers would never face something so ghastly.
Who were you to go to?
Who were you to tell?
Who would you allow go judge you?
After what befell, you just wanted to obliviate those memories of those horrific days.
Fixing life,

would be mending those days,

into being mature and carrying out or doing the right thing,

stopping those monsters come at you n let them feel you.
Make fun of you, your body, and not suffer?

You just did your stupidity n let karma decifer.
The innocent, the knive, the in human, the hurtful regime.
Who shall pay?
Who shall have a say?
You have no clue of what and how you will suffer, cautious the next time about trusting people, or so hopeless in nature, that the incident befell.
Weak, callous, you let them in, hurt you n move on, while you're still!
Wake up n see that you need to live through them troubles,

smile your way through, and the path will show itself clear of all those hurdles lined up to bring you down.
Fear is an obstacle you need to for go, and then dealing with things will become a lot easier.
You kept it inside long enough, now let it out and raise the bar high enough.
People won't touch you,
people won't come close,
They know you'll eat them raw,
If they even lay eyes on you.
