from a distance

from a distance

A Poem by Ada Pacia

here we go again.

this painful facade i endure.

from this corner i love and loathe,

i see those elusive threads of colors bounce

even without a bargain.

to anyone but me.

the pull pushes me away.

to stay unknowing nudges my every move.

i am convinced the corner could my pit,

but those colors chase,

wrap me with just a swirl.

my resolve is down.

i giggle and i hate.

the single spot explodes and seeps all over

i am back at that which was once a corner,

now with no more walls, almost baring me

but still from a distance.

my joy is my misery.

This is a great poem! Depicts an image about how trapped the person feels, and about how not nearly everything is as they seem.
