Sterile Death

Sterile Death

A Poem by chakhi khoisia

Loose untouched sheets,
Sprawled against the tiled floor.
Uncared steriled papers touched
The skin deceased minutes ago.
Rumbled sound resonated,
As the tired old fan rotated.
Enlightenment of existence of sound siphoned
Somehow to the vaccum surrounding otherwise.
Death lingered and catered for its acknowledgement.
But left no tip-off to its disappearance!
The worn gray fan rumbled.
The clean torn pages entwined.
Death appeared stoically calm,
Before it turned into a mystery of its own.
