Don't Love Me

Don't Love Me

A Poem by Chained_Voice
"

A poem I wrote when I was 13. I have no idea what inspired me to but ya.... it's not a very happy poem.

"

In the night,
Things give you fright.
I’ll hold you close,
from the life I chose.

I know you don’t love me,
But that’s alright.
I’ll keep you safe,
Throughout the night.

In the night,
You ask for light.
I make a flame,
As if in a game.

But I know you don’t love me,
And that’s alright.
I’ll keep you safe,
Throughout the night.

In your sleep,
You softly weep.
Mumbling his name,
Even in your shame.

I know you don’t love me.
But that’s alright.
I’ll take your life,
On this very night.
