Guilty By AssociationA Poem by ChahklatYou make me guilty through association.
If colors were labels then I'd be "Guilty".
Your mannerisms say that I am filthy. You make me guilty through association. In judging you exercise no hesitation. Why not let me go and give me a chance? Or is it me, personally, you can't stand? Don't point your accusations in my direction. It's your way of raising yourself and erecting to the kingly status and the perfect position. Authority is no different, they will not listen. Is it the fact you constantly spew complaints? Yet, I never once claimed to be a saint. Though cramped from being locked in scrutiny, And ready for the freedom, praying for release. I don't sit on a throne and attempt to judge. Not trying to take your job, why the grudge? © 2010 Chahklat |
