The King's MedicineA Poem by ChahklatThey become you if they hard enoughPompous f*****g b******s, they are lording over poetry, bent backs, scrutinizing, putting rhyme to meter, and "creative rules". Where do you find the time to combine pages of scribbled accounts, then claim the masses blind? Prescribing a dose of medicine, they become you if they try hard enough. Thinking back, it is the only remedy or the disease is incurable. The generic moans and rhymes to them belonged. Now the so named "imagery" and "poetic devices" are yours. It's approved and stamped with kingly seals. © 2010 Chahklat |
