Perfume of KarmaA Poem by ChahklatI asked myself why I believed you
I couldn't breathe,
my every breath filled with the perfume of your lie.
I asked myself why I believed you. Neither brain nor heart could give reply. You'd gladly ask me to surrender my life. Knowing me, I probably would kill myself. And I'm intoxicated with your putrid form. I tempt myself with your kiss, touch, taste, and smell. I pray nightly for karma to descend, to rip your heart, receive your punishment and due. Maybe if you were denied and dead finally I would forget, cease loving you. © 2014 Chahklat |
