AloneA Poem by Anthony D. HoweTruthfully, one of my biggest fears is being alone. I'm always thinking about it, and in the end I truly don't believe that humans are meant to be alone. We are always searching for a friend, or a significant other. Basically we want someone to fill inEver felt alone in a crowded hall? Felt like no one would come to your call? Ever felt cold, shivering in the heat? Or just wanted another soul to meet?
Ever looked up, and no one was there? Felt as if no one would ever care? Seen the sky, and seen the space? Of the lives and souls, of the human race?
We all miss them even if they were never there, Our soul's mate, our heart's fare, We search we wonder At night we ponder
Really, is anyone there? © 2008 Anthony D. HoweReviews
