A poem written in the darkness to remember that the light will come. The title is taken from the title of a poem by Carl Sandburg, which in part inspired this poem.
I like it Charlotte - a great metaphor for life. Life often seems like that, grey and dismal but there is always some hope on the horizon. Or perhaps I am reading too much into your poem? The nice thing about poetry is that when we share it we renounce possession of it.

Charlotte Wensleydale was born in 1779. Details of her early life are unknown.
