Poseidon

Poseidon

A Poem by Charlotte Wensleydale

The ocean is my happiness,

That vast and stirring deep,

Where sailors lie entombed, and all

The depths their secrets keep.

I’ll sink into eternity

And lie upon the floor;

As all my thoughts dissolve away,

The world will be no more.
