Only 6 Feet Tall

Only 6 Feet Tall

A Poem by CatGusGus

Everybody listen, for I have something to say.
We are so small, so fragile, so individual.
Its only hard to grasp the idea,
that we are all only 6 feet tall.
From the diverting mountains, that wind up to 1,000 feet.
To the waves that combine its energy to raise itself 50 feet in the air.
To the trees, that swallow us whole, that provide for us, and care for our needs.
To the lonely endless valleys that strain on for miles on end.
In the end,
We are only 6 feet tall.

You paint an intriguing image with your words here. I can see this as both a message of how small and unique humans are, as well as alluding to the idea that even though we are small, we can do great things and climb higher than those big things surrounding us.

Thinking Ink! :)
