Time Falls UpA Chapter by Ceuthonymus
It all falls down
Collapsing pieces, Fractions of who we are as You feel like loosing it Your life is a waste The mind on hyperdrive As she falls though The inside of your mind Just a reflection But within that shard is The idea of hope A little light to guide Through the rushing tunnel Inside the brain That is much like a clocktower Tolling when an age dies When you move into the next step until You give up on it of living The tower begins to fall apart To the unraveling of these thoughts As you tear at your insides As much as you scratch at the flesh She keeps sailing on though All of the chaos that lurks within Somehow untouched by all of this Able to free herself From the cruelality that you are so weak To not be able to even endure it Sending yourself rocketing Towards the bottom of the tower Reaching for the concrete floor And to crush your skull into it As the bones crack The floor being covered in a crimson pool Of filth and tragedy. Instead she hits the ground hard Bouncing back up Limp as all get out That look she gave you all the way down Is still clear on her face Of how badly she feels for you Knowing what you had to carry Of what you had to deal with. Her skin is so florescent That it reminds you of the moon That just sits outside the window In front of you. You landed hard too But nothing breaks Your body is like titanium Being hard to repture Or even to crack But on the inside is a different story As the heart is in the throat You feel the burning sansation Of it being ripped out Along with the throat Making it hard to breath Making it hard to move Your body goes limp too Unable to carry on As your siren is gone Her sweet melody Will never echo within these walls Again, only her husk remains.
