The getaway

The getaway

A Chapter by Ceuthonymus

You observe all of this, the boy looking all around him, he making his own mental notes. You carry on floating as the medical asistents move him once again, this time making sure that he is extremely secure.
You guess that they don't want him to run out on them as they try to help him. You wonder, however, if this is truly helping him. But you refrain from saying anything, which isn't difficult since none can hear you anyways. Yet you are a very importent entity and even to go as far as to say that you are the beast in the corner is no stretch of the imagination.
Here we go, another trip.
The ambulence goes faster this time around, not having to stop for so many cars this time.
Then he begins to laugh. Why laugh? Afterall most people would be already dead at this point, or have little to no energy to do anything yet he can laugh. The doctors are all confused, trying to speak reason with him, yet tonight all reason was thrown out the window.
Tonight, they were driving down to the very gates of hell.
