The Dim Light

The Dim Light

A Chapter by Ceuthonymus

I feel empty
On the inside
Of the corpse
That I live in
This husk taking me
Down into the depths of hell
And I am along for the ride.
Darkness encases me
Covering me so that
I may never see the light
That keeps shining at me
That I have never known
For I wasn't born with such
A high privilige like this.
Instead I have had to suffer alone
Until she came into the picture
And shattered the darkness
With her own purity
That I had never known or
Had knowledge on.
I cannot see her however
The light blinding me
So that her face is surrounded
With the light
Making her the sun
Shining so brillently and bright
But now the chains hold on tight
Never wanting to let go
Never wanting to release this demon
That this angel of heaven
Has unlocked from the darkness
That had surround him
That had surround me.
So please
Don't leave me
Don't abandon me
Stay here
And warm me up
Allow for the warmth of your pressence
To seep into my cold unbeating veins
So that I can leave death
And live again.
