Artemis leads the huntresses

On out of the village

And back into the forest

All the while

With two figures watching

From above

Concealed within the trees.

‘How the hell

Did we miss him again?’

Asbetos cried out.

‘Silence you fool,

You are going to give us away

And soon enough we will have

Our own hunt to the death!’

Keres quietly, but firmly

Stated against firery Asbetos.

‘Then fine, what do you

Propose to do in order to

Fix the mistakes that we have

Made thus far?

For I say that we attack them

While they are least expecting it.

Burn the camp down

And grab the child

As the huntresses are consumed

Within the chaos that you

Shall unleash unto all of them.’

‘It is a fine idea,’

Replied blood hungry Keres,

‘But we would have to act fast

By following them first

And then staking out there camp.

We need to understand

Their weak points

For when we attack

They will be hit hard

And quick too,

So that they are too stunned

To do anything about

What we have done

Or of what we will do

To the child

And so on.’

Hurdling through the trees
