Chapter 24: The Grand Escape

Chapter 24: The Grand Escape

A Chapter by Ceuthonymus

Athena looked at him in disbelief
Should she really believe what he was claiming?
Such bold words had he dared to speak
And what is more is that he demands
To speak with her father and
All other gods and goddesses of olympus
In order to speak this truth
If it is true
But who truly knows what is true
And what is false?
Before anyone could say another word
Cruel Circe, goddess of magic, entered the room.
"So the two of you
Have gotten comfortable I see,"
She proclaimed.
"So what of it?"
Demanded Chronos.
"Well, I hate introducing
Two or more people
And you two did a fine job
Getting to know each other without
My help,
But it is a shame,
For I am about to kill you both,
The only problem is who
To dispatch first,
The child with the great god within him
Or the rude goddess who interupted everything?
"Go to Hades, you hag!"
Cried Chronos.
"I guess we have a winner!"
Circe proclaimed as she grabbed
Chronos and proceded to rip him
From the wall and throw him to the ground.
Chronos laid there limply
Unmoving until Circe came over in order to
Pick him up,
But that is when Chronos surprised her
By stabbing her in the abdomen
With only his arms
Which had been transformed into
Skeletol blades of glory
But also of a deadly fate to himself.
"Come on! Let's go!"
Chronos cried out to Athena
As he grabbed her and proceded to carry
Her out of the mansion.
The magic surrounding the palace
Seemed to fade,
Causing it to begin to
Crumble to the ground.
Chronos though,
Being the god of time
Slowed down the destruction of
The mansion and speed himself up
In order to save himself and the
Goddess with which he was carrying on out
Of the burning inferno.
