Chapter 14: The First Seal

Chapter 14: The First Seal

A Chapter by Ceuthonymus

Now we look on

As he turns toward young Yami

Ready to tell his story

And so shall we journey with him

Listening to this grand tale

Told to us through the muses

As they act on his behalf.

'Now I, Ripheus father of you

Yami Cronos, should know

That I have fallen defending this land

The land of Troy

But I am justly slain

And sent down hither for what I have done

Unto all of mankind.

I have started something that shall

Affect the child of tomorrow

And the generations that shall follow.

I broke a seal

One that was never meant to break.

I was born from Lady Nike, Goddess of Victory

And lead the goodly people of Troy to victory

Time and time again.

But this time,

I have failed them.

After one of our battles

I fell upon the very ring

That is now tethered down to your soul

And was told by thunderous Zeus to destroy it

But I could not bring myself to do such an act.

I died a coward for not being able to suck up

Doing as what was asked of me

Now with you and our family paying the ultimate price.

The first seal is broken by my choice,

The second seal is wearing the ring

And that breaking brings us closer

To the end of the world.

Work for Zeus

Ask for his forgiveness

And make sure the five other seals do not break

Or else Hades will rule over all

With the end of all other gods.

So go now and do this on my behalf."

With this victorious Ripheus left

To spend the rest of his days in the valley of death

Staring and regretting his life being

Laid to waste along with Troy.

And the boat takes off

With Yami hiding once again in the hay

Heading back to the wicked witch.
