Garden

Garden

A Poem by V.I.C.

Garden

Entwined in this vine, sustained through the stems,

Rooted in love, in this soil I’m maintained.

Watered with grace and shadowed by mercy.

In His garden I am kept.

In His garden I am nurtured.

By weeds I grow, by foxes I’m desired.

The thief comes, but fails to realize

He will be thrown in the fire.

Troubles come and troubles go,

But in the Lords garden I will grow
