Fool

Fool

A Poem by V.I.C.

Fool

I thought I knew where I was going; I guess not, I was such a fool. I believed I changed my ways I was such a fool. Thought I could live my own life, I was such a fool.

Now my ways have changed and you’re the fool. I now walk the path that is drawn before me and you’re the fool. For I walk a path that is unrecognizable to others but familiar to me, that’s why you’re the fool.

With inspirational words of truth, like the tip of the sword I will destroy all that lurks in darkness, because I know you’re the fool. For in the end I will be drowned in the waters of glory, all while you lay in the bed of hopelessness and that’s when you’ll realize you’re the fool
