Within ReachA Poem by V.I.C.Within Reach Big cities and monumental buildings are all out of reach. Destined for greatness? At times it feel it can't be. Off in the distance I see it, sometimes within reach. I chase after it, tired and out of breath, fast my heart beats. As I reach out and grasp it, I can feel it slipping between my fingers. The fear of loosing this dream and wonder is all to surreal. Perplexed I stand thinking that without a chance I can fight the habit of man. "Give up and quit" they yell at me. But a hold I take of this dream that is laid before me.
