I wrote this poem for a high school project a number of years ago. I hope you all rate and review and as always, enjoy!

America;
The manifesto of a million voices,
A million dreams, a million lives
Lost in the times of war and peace
A million hearts and a million souls
Yearning for a better time
Where they can be free of troubles
And sorrow forever
A million minds
Calling for a sudden startling submissive change
In the way the government runs our lives
A million little pieces of the puzzle
Our forefathers started
Now we must take up the task of completing it
And creating a brighter future
