All I RememberA Poem by James ReyesIt killed me to say goodbye. I knew we'd never have what we had that one day again. But none of that matters now. This memory still lingers. I doubt it will fade.A cracked pepper kiss, and the shake of your head. Soft frame saturated in the cloak of my sweater. Finger-digits thatched in mine like wicker basket clung close. A rogue ray of sun... And you smiled.
