Ah I guess I haven't been doing too well with my aunt.... I honestly think I missed my chance to see her. She's going faster than we anticipated. She'll die soon and I just let my thoughts carry me with this poem, from the point of view for the cancer patients who don't make it among those(their friends in the hospital room) who do make it.
My aunt can hardly hold a conversation now. It's crazy. I don't know if she can comprehend or hear people, but I hope she knows I loved her and I always want to remember her as the smiling teacher I knew and loved.

This brought tears to my eyes - and I don't say that to sound dramatic. This poem is simple and profoundly heartfelt. I'm not sure what I can say by way of comfort, but I know, if your aunt were to read this, it would touch her heart. Hang in there, my friend. I pray for peace for both of you.
a lovely write, reflective, seeking answers, the sadness. i'm sorry to hear about your aunt. funny how we all have that favourite relative, someone more special.

I can feel your each word, it says how much pain the heart is bearing right now... I have seen so many people losing their life to cancer, and it's unbearable to see them pass away, we are helpless in such situations, the world might have reached to the peak of inventions and discovery but death remains true to this day... I don't know what to say to comfort you frnd, but all I can do is pray for your aunt, the God we serve knows all our pain, and I know He will keep your aunt safe... Sending all my good wishes and prayers for you and your aunt... God bless you...
