Misery

I've discovered whenever I am happy,

 bad things happen.

Yet when I'm unhappy,

everything good happens.

So I've decided maybe from now on,

it would make you happier.

If I was always miserable.

Yeah, I've had many a day that felt like this. That's what's good about this site is that it allows you to express yourself and to connect with others who have had similar experiences. There was no need for anything fancy here but that's what I liked about it, there was a sense of matter of factness,no nonsense quality that made it rich for me. I like your "shoot from the hip" approach.

This is the irony of life. It seems to go like this a lot of the time, and quite frankly, it sucks. That final line really gets me. But I don't want you to be miserable all the time. I know you're going through a rough spot. Hang in there. You are stronger than misery.

damn! i hear this to the quick ..i think we all do or have done this before ..not happy until we make our close ones unhappy ... then off we skip ...as if it were our due ... not sure what it is about us that makes this so ...can be small or a relationship stopper ... i sense a bit of inevitable sarcastic humor in your closing lines ... if one can take it i guess love might last :} great read for me ..enjoyed it very much
