The Most Famous SandwichA Story by MajesticGustA work of art is displayed, regardless of its original purpose. There was a famous chef. His food was said to have been so good that people from all over the world would come to his restaurant to taste his creation. And when the food was ready, he would garnish it like no other. His food was like a work of art, and many felt like it was a waste just to eat it. Often, his restaurant was filled with people just viewing his food in awe. One day, the chef made a sandwich for a customer. And when the sandwich was presented, the customer was so pleased with it that he decided to display it in his museum of art. Soon, word has spread that this museum displayed the most beautiful creation in human history. And every day, the visitors would crowd around the sandwich just to catch a glimpse of it. The owner of the museum got offers of millions of dollars for the sandwich every day, which he all turned down. A child looking at the sandwich saw it and shouted, “The sandwich is green!” Sure enough, the corners of the sandwich were beginning to turn green. But the people exclaimed that this sandwich now had more color on it than before. The sandwich became more famous after that, and thousands every day would visit the museum just to see the sandwich. The green continued to grow, and the visitors marveled at it. The chef was praised for creating an ever changing work of art. And the green turned from green to brown to black. Once the sandwich turned completely black, the people waited for it to change once again. But no matter how long they waited, it would not change colors. In fact, the sandwich looked like it was shrinking in size. An unpleasant smell began to arise from it. It was no longer pleasing to look at. Fewer and fewer people visited to see it. The sandwich began to stink a lot. Soon, the entire museum was filled with the smell. No one wanted to visit the museum anymore, and the museum was shut down. © 2018 MajesticGustFeatured Review
