Theory of Pronouns

A Poem by MajesticGust
"

The pronouns we use often show how we view the world.

"

I, what’s mine is mine

I am important to me, myself

My thoughts senses

All I have is mine

You are not me

I cannot see what you think

What you’ve experienced, your past

Blind to them all, unable to hear

Separated by a wall

We are different

We stand out, our lives

Others are not us, we share our existence

Walking together

or

Sword to sword, blade to blade

We fight, blood flowing

Tears flow

War for what is ours

Bringing harm to those in between

They change, never the same

Once was a part of us

Or maybe not

Their ideas, in conflict with ours

No way to share, to compromise

I see for myself, you can do you

Not together, for themselves

I, what’s mine is mine
