I like the hesitancy with which she answers; any poet worth salt feels humbled by the craft but beauty, for the most part, is truly in the eye of the beholder. Different strokes for different folks. We simply grasp at those spinning thoughts like motes of dust in morning sunshine and try to realize them onto the paper or the computer screen. This held a relative theme for me; aspiring to my worth as a poet in the judgment of others.
no it is fun and i can relate.. people ask me a lot when i am writing in notebooks what i am writing .. poetry .. they usually laugh.

I always tend to stumble when I have to admit to my poetry, with those outside people, of course, the kind folks here don't pay any attention to it . . .
I like it. I felt like I was flying. Until his voice broke in, then I felt myself stumble. That's good stuff.
I like it! Writing poetry is like that. Thoughts floating and spinning around in your head demanding to be put to paper. Not allowing you to rest until it's done.
