For all those people who said wives must not be heard.

Some times we need advice form our wives and their advices can be beneficial for us. If we take it in positive manner. As I had taken it and it saves the lives of me and my childhood friend.

Husbands hardly ever listen to their wives. As they consider their opinion worthless. Anyhow, this story can change their opinion about their wives thinking.

“Hello, Henry I can’t come to the cocktail party, I am too depressed. My business is about to shut down!” said by my childhood friend Peter. Somehow, I managed to convince him to meet me at his favorite Chinese restaurant “Henan Feng Wei” for a dinner. Peter and I were best friend since we were in 4^th grade. Although our thoughts didn’t match, but it didn’t affect our friendship. Since childhood, he had a craze to become a successful businessman and I wanted to be a teacher.

 

Our dreams came true.  I am now a teacher and he is an entrepreneur, a proud owner of of Henry Textile. But, today this news disturbed me a lot and compelled me to cancel all my programs. I was shocked to hear that he is about to close his business.

 

After having dinner with him, I was feeling worried about his business. I decided to discuss this matter with my wife Hanna. She is a great analyst of technology. I came home and found her in the study room.

 

“Oh honey, please come in! I thought you would come late, as you met him after a long time” said Hanna.

 

I told her about Henry‘s problem, how his employees have conflicts every month over the remuneration. Due to these conflicts, he had hired three HRM managers n last three months. His employees are arriving late on the job and leaving early. Their productivity is low because of coming late and occasional absenteeism. Some of the employees were found marking their absent colleague’s attendance. When HRM fired some of those responsible and deducted others’ salaries, they started to fight and went on for a strike. The company lost three crucial contracts in the last five months because they failed to meet the deadline. 

Hanna listens patiently and concluded that Henry only needs an attendance tracking system. As these problems are occurring due to an inappropriate attendance tracking system. She suggested me to have a look at attendance tracking app which are available at the App Store and Google Play.

I took her suggestion and search about these apps. I was totally amazed when I found an app which is for businesses and classrooms. It maintains attendance through a simple process. All you have to do is just tap a couple of times on a smartphone’s screen. It prevents the person to mark fake attendance because it takes an image of that person. It generates custom report which highlights latecomers and absentees. In the app we can set our grace time period and casual and annual leaves according to organization s’ policies. I was so impressed by this app that I decided to refer it to my school’s principal.

 

Within a couple of months, Henry s’ business showed great promise and went into profit for the first time. His employees’ behaviors toward their attendance and performance changed completely. You must be thinking about my school attendance system. So I also implement it to my school, now at parent teacher meetings, we have a complete report on students’ attendance in the classrooms. Not only this, I started to send monthly reports of students to their parent. Just inform them about their child so that in the end of year we don’t any kind of issue about attendance with parents.

Well to conclude, I am so thankful to my wife and those people who develop these fantastic apps!
