The Art and The Artist

The Art and The Artist

A Poem by Celestia
"

The art is always followed by the artist

"
Funny how pain can make anyone an artist
And make any artist lose their love for the art
Almost as if flowers weren't loved by the florist
If it wasn't made for a broken heart

A broken heart the most beautiful experience
Cause it's a heart that longs to feel
But it can't wait to earn resilience
So the scars still remain even after you heal

Hate is an art so beautiful
It brings a tsunami of pain
And none of the efforts to escape it ever seem fruitful
But love trust me, no efforts are ever in vain

But art in this word has no place
Art may earn respect but can't pay bills
And i have no guarantee of food on the plate
Art will do me no good when i have to write my will

But art is the only way i express
Now that's not say i feel depressed
But i must somehow heal the wounds that you pressed
Art though so beautiful, can never compare to love
Cause once a person feels love, they can no longer be impressed
