About Lovers

About Lovers

A Poem by Celeste21

But you don't know about lovers

The interlace of bodies

Somhow before

The interlocking of minds

Weaving complications

Between easy hearts

Cause' love is easy

Loving is hard

If you're doing it RIGHT

Marriages keep two people

In lockets

Others think

They can open

At any time

Elast                   ticity

         Elasticity

Relationships could learn from

Doesn't matter

Relationships can't study

So people must

"..Relationship's can't study
so people must.." So much power in that one line. It's like leading by example. This poem was amazing, simple to understand yet such a complex meaning behind each line. Because of the way you wrote it? It gives people the ability to create their own meanings to fit their 'Love'.

Relationships do take A LOT of work...then it becomes monotonous like that rotisserie cooker on the infomercial...set it and forget it...you go on autopilot...and then one day...you find out both were cheating hearts...in my case, at least...I love how you opened and ended in a spoken word manner...love is easy and Loving is hard. Lovely.
