Rain

Close your eyes

Feel the pull of the breeze

I see you fall upon your knees

Raising your face to the sky

Crying crystalized tears

Seeing your heart engulfed in fear

Not knowing what to do

Not having a clue

Wanting to ask those questions

Yet fearing the answers

I hide in the shadow of the trees

Partaking in the same breeze

Hearing you mutter a prayer

Wishing that you weren't there

I reach out to touch you

Instead all I feel is air

Maybe you wished that I wasn't there

How can that be?

How can this happen to me?

I disperse into a mist

To be carried on the breeze

How could you do this to me

I try to ask

But alas I cannot speak

I float out to the sea

And turn into a cloud

Which I rain down upon you

Wtih anger and sadness

Hoping you would understand

Yet knowing that you never will
