Tell Me...

This was written with a specific person in mind.

The voice inside my head is screaming

What is it that you believe in

I believe my heart is torn in two

Dear Lord I don't know what to do

I feel my heart beating

Can you please tell me the meaning

How come I feel a little blue

How come I really fell for you

This feeling has sent me reeling

I think I am finally seeing

And that everything I knew

Changed when I met you

All of my doubts that were shouting

Are now in the corner dying

The other person, you wonder who

They have touched me but not like you

I love to hear you softly talking

Yet I don't know if I should start walking

There is something that rings true

That I left my heart with you

Can you tell if it is beating

Can you tell me what to believe in?
