Champagne Suicide

Champagne Suicide

A Poem by Celeb

Feeling my heart beating
Knowing that my bed is empty
Except for me
And the blankets covering me
How I yearn that you were here
No distance shall be too great
For you my heart shall wait
Raise a toast in your name
With a glass of  red wine
Knowing that it is a quarter past nine
Feeling your name roll off my lips
Knowing that we both despise the same things
Wanting to do a champagne suicide
Experience the blending of everything
Yet the thing that brings us close
Is what really matters the most
Money or looks cannot buy love
And happiness is what is on the inside
So reach through the screen
And grasp my hand
We shall stand together
And watch the sun rise across the land
So raise the bottle
Raise the glass
And let the champagne suicide last
