Reveries That GlideA Poem by Ceil LovegoodEntwine and betwixt my billowing dreams,
there gracefully woven an awry fraying seam Clusters of scintillating blue-bells that shimmer slightly silver, hallow of frisky petals blooming seemingly forever Dearest unto you love, which deems fading in sight Heartstrings resonate in smears of dusty midnight Tumbling notes of moonlit memories refrain their feeble tears A tear inclines yet another tear my lovely deary These forgotten days riddled of our lovelorn glee, and maroon skies that line the mellow tips of our knees Looming kites we clasp the thin laces trailing from our hearts Never for a dint of fright did start, we bidden with laughter instead Clutching the patchy knits and folds with fingers wed A simple morning chime that etches a line, I felt moonlight slither along my unbridled eyes. © 2012 Ceil LovegoodAuthor's Note
