Reveries That Glide

Reveries That Glide

A Poem by Ceil Lovegood

Entwine and betwixt my billowing dreams,
there gracefully woven an awry fraying seam
Clusters of scintillating blue-bells that shimmer slightly silver,
hallow of frisky petals blooming seemingly forever
Dearest unto you love, which deems fading in sight
Heartstrings resonate in smears of dusty midnight
Tumbling notes of moonlit memories refrain their feeble tears
A tear inclines yet another tear my lovely deary
These forgotten days riddled of our lovelorn glee,
and maroon skies that line the mellow tips of our knees
Looming kites we clasp the thin laces trailing from our hearts
Never for a dint of fright did start,
we bidden with laughter instead
Clutching the patchy knits and folds with fingers wed
A simple morning chime that etches a line,
I felt moonlight slither along my unbridled eyes.

I don't believe that your poem was shameful at all! It was a very sophisticated poem, something that I really don't see much on this webiste. Ignorning the few grammer problems, I couldn't find anything wrong with this piece! Thank you for entering this in my contest and thank you for writing!

I love the opening line and the imagery within this piece is magnificent.

it's actually quite pretty

is bellowing supposed to be billowing?
i think you could just lose the commas, and the extra t in knitts and the d in wedds
i like the feel of it though
