House of MemoriesA Poem by Caustic_Dystopia
I think of you from time to time,
But don't you worry, I'm just fine. Distant memories of what used to be Are clouded now with misery. I can no longer recall the good without reliving the bad, Bittersweet midnight dreams that make me feel so mad. You've tainted it all with your poisonous lies, So I stood so silent, unmoving as it dies. What used to be a home where we shared the keys Is now a rundown, decayed house of broken memories.
